Today we went over alphas for our texture.
We didn't get any time in lesson to make our own alphas, however we were shown what alphas could be used for, especially for foliage.
The way I like to describe it, is like having a transparent PNG on your texture workflow.
We went over exporting files, making sure they are TARGA or .TGA including 32 bit channels to make sure alphas are rendered properly when in the game engine.
