Digital art practice - week two

 In today's digital art practice session, we experimented more with values.

I have very strong pieces. Especially the centre thumbnail, including the walkway and bones in the background.

However, the thing I found most difficult was trying to diversify my thumbnails to include  more dynamic and organic shapes. For example, trees.

I would like to start painting more organic shapes, like trees, but this is difficult to do when trying to establish a story and theme around a 'quick thumbnail'. Furthermore, I am happy with what I achieved, but establishing a scene which intrigues the viewer that is also readable, seems very difficult and I would like to work on this.
