Area of success:
Overall, this project has been challenging, but I believe that my character overall encapsulated the idea of a post-apocalyptic scenario.
The idea of scavenging parts from across the wasteland to adapt yourself to be the stronger person.
The colour schemes I came up with have defiantly excelled compared to cube world. This is because I actually implemented the colour schemes on to the character rather than overlaying it on the model to 'give a sense' of colour.
Area of improvement:
I know one of my areas of improvement is to research anatomy and methods. Even though the final outcome resembles a character, functionality of clothing and wrapping round edges, contouring and folds are harder to see. Meaning I would need to research the practicality of the elements that go into making a character.
Future reference:
In the future, when it comes to the character design, I want to invest my time into doing more research toward assets to accompany the character. Whether it is weapons, appropriate clothing items etc.
This way I can adapt the designs I come across and iterate, possibly combining each of the items together in some form or another
